This wonderful necklace was created by local artist Lori Riles to embody the spirit of the city! The words New Orleans with a dangle that reads 'believe' hanging from a nylon cord that snaps apart- much nicer than the ones you typically see that tie but won't stay closed!

Necklace comes on a card that reads:
New Orleans is called "The city that care forgot." It is said to be the most written about of all American cities. New Orleans is not only a cultural gumbo of Creole, Cajun, African and Indian; it is also a musical gumbo of Dixieland, Jazz, Cajun and Zydeco.

New Orleans will seduce you with its mystery, intrigue, scents and sounds. Since the devistation of Hurricane Katrina, New Orleans is truly in its dirge; but make no mistake, New Orleans will be rebuilt- the second line will come. There is pride and optimism and we BELIEVE.
