Here in the Big Easy we have quite a few things we just love to eat (and drink!) that you might not have experienced before. Here are some ideas to get you started toward having your very own New Orleans style feast!

Muffalletta- A sandwich particular to this neck of the woods, filled to overflowing with meats and our very own Olive Spread.

Sazarac- The cocktail was (naturally!) invented in New Orleans, and this was it. When Antoine Amedee Peychaud came here from France and created his unique bitters, he started a craze that's lasted for almost 200 years.

Charlie's Chicken Cordon Blues - I have the very good fortune to live with the chef and inventor of this dish! A cajun update of Cordon Bleu, this easy dish uses andouille and Joe's Hot Stuff for a spicy bite!

Shrimp or Crawfish Etouffee-The classic New Orleans recipe- we even give away the secret of amazing richness you'll only find in the city!

Chicken & Andouille Jambalaya- Another bayou classic! Rice, smoked sausage, chicken & spice- what could be better?

Sazerac- The New Orleans classic, long considered the first cocktail ever invented

Pimm's Cup- Pimm's is an English gin with an entirely different recipe than you might be used to, making for a unique experience

New Orleans Hurricane- the official drink of Bourbon Street- and if somebody tries to tell you to make it with Southern Comfort, you tell ‘em you know the real recipe!
